With the cards created, The Scrybes had solidified their power. Until, one day, a challenger arrived to replace one of the Scrybes!
Act II Intro
Act II is an 8-bit, open-ended version of Act I, where your goal is to defeat the four Scrybes.
Unlocking Act II[]
These are the requirements to unlock Act II:
Obtain the Stunted Wolf Card and the Camera Film.
- To do this, you will need to unlock the Special Dagger (see page for more details).
- Use the dagger during a fight. When choosing a replacement eye, choose the bright blue one with symbols all over it. Your vision on the right side should now have a magic circle overlay (note, in order for the eye to appear you must have lost the game at least once).
- Hidden messages and marks are now revealed. Go to the clock and input the correct time.
- The secret compartment contains both the Stunted Wolf and the Camera Film. Grab both before you return to the table.
Defeat the Mysterious Figure.
- After defeating him, you will be brought to the cabin. However, you now have both the camera and the film.
- Quickly grab the camera, insert the film, and take his photo.
- You will now be free to move about the cabin.
In the cabin is the New Game option. Grab it and return to the menu. Act II begins when you begin a new game!
Gameplay[]
Act II introduces two new mechanics - Mox and Energy - and many new cards.
Act II uses Foils as its primary currency and can be exchanged with The Trader who appears in each area with the Scrybes.
Act II also reveals that the Stoat was P03, the Stinkbug was Grimora, and the Stunted Wolf was Magnificus. The Mysterious Figure is named Leshy. These four are the Scrybes of Inscryption, and you, as the Challenger, are here to defeat them and take one's place.
This Act ends with PO3 hijacking the game and taking control.
