When a card bearing this sigil is played, it provides an Energy Cell to its owner.

Battery Bearer is a sigil that causes a card bearing it to grant the player one Energy Cell when played. This increases the player's maximum energy by one, and immediately grants them one energy to spend.

Strategy[]

In Battle[]

Though this sigil has no bearing on combat ability, it should still be factored in when deciding the order to play cards. For instance, if the player has three energy and two cards that cost two energy, one of which possesses this sigil, playing the card with this sigil first is the only way to play both in the same turn, since the player will immediately receive one energy back.

Deckbuilding[]

This sigil, in isolation, has great utility on cards with low costs, as they can be played earlier in the game and allow cards with high energy costs to be played faster. Additionally, in Act III, this sigil is incredibly powerful when combined with Unkillable: a card with both these sigils can be destroyed with the hammer, then replayed to gain another Energy Cell, then destroyed again.

If such a card has an energy cost of one or zero (achievable either with Card Creation, Sapphire Vessels, or multiple modifications to Bomb Latcher, L33pB0t, or Sentry Drone), then the player can replay the card as many times as they want during their turn, allowing them to achieve maximum energy on the same turn this card is drawn.
