When a card bearing this sigil dies, 4 Bones are awarded instead of 1.

So many Bones...

Bone King is a Sigil that provides the owner with 4 Bones instead of 1 when the card perishes. This applies when dying under any circumstance: through sacrifice, combat or by more specific forms of death such as The Prospector's pickaxe and the effects of Steel Trap.

Strategy[]

In Battle[]

Due to the bonus given on death, it may be wise to play cards bearing this Sigil in dangerous positions or simply use them as sacrifice fodder, although the latter is only recommended if they have no attack or doing so would allow the player to play an expensive Bone card.

Deckbuilding[]

This Sigil is best placed on weak, cheap cards that are expected to die such as the Beehive, or meant to be sacrificed such as the Black Goat. If put on a Cockroach, you will be able to play it again immediately when it dies. The best way to use Bone King is to combine it with Sigils that can multiple the number of instances in which it can appear, such as Dam Builder and Loose Tail. This is an effective strategy when using Bone Decks as it multiplies the number of Bones you can quickly obtain.

Giving this Sigil to cards with high Health, high Cost or the Waterborne Sigil is counterintuitive and should be avoided.
