The Finale is the fourth and final section of Inscryption. It starts after Leshy kills P03, and Grimora starts the deletion process of Inscryption.
Grimora's Section[]
Shortly after the deletion process starts, the player is transported to Grimora's Crypt.
Pre-Game[]
The player starts in a small room, with a single tombstone blocking their way. After picking up and inserting three different epitaths, the tombstone sinks into the ground and the player may proceed to Grimora, who starts a game of Inscryption to celebrate the end of her life.
Gameplay[]
Map[]
The player moves their piece along a game board while Grimora occasionally moves two other pieces. Pieces cannot be moved diagonally, or pass over other pieces. Moving alongside one of Grimora's pieces initiates a battle. There is an interactable chest on the map that functions as a Card Choice event. The player is always offered a Bonehound, a Banshee, and a Revenant in some random order. However, the third choice gets deleted, forcing the player to decide between a random 2 of the 3.
Battle[]
When starting a battle, the player draws 3 cards from their deck and a Skeleton. All cards cost Bones to play.
At the start of your turn, you can choose to either draw 1 card from your own deck or draw 1 Skeleton. You must draw before playing any cards. Your deck originally consists of 3 Gravediggers and two Frank & Steins, however you may choose to add one card to it through the card choice event.
If the player loses a battle, the section ends prematurely.
Boss Battle[]
Grimora expresses with delight that she has enough time to do a boss battle, putting on a mask of Royal, setting up cannons along the board and playing loud music.
Despite the dramatic display, the boss fight abruptly ends before being properly started. The props for the fight get deleted, with everything else used to play following shortly after.
Ending[]
After the game is unable to continue, Grimora and the player shake hands, and Grimora gets deleted.
Leshy's Section[]
After Grimora is deleted, the player is transported to Leshy's Cabin.
Pre-Game[]
Knowing the end is inevitable, Leshy opts to play one final game with the player.
Gameplay[]
Battle[]
The gameplay is identical to that of Act I. The player uses the same deck they did in Act I, minus any Talking Cards.
If the player would win or lose the battle, the scales get deleted and the game continues, with Leshy insisting they do not need to keep score.
As the battle goes on, more and more things get deleted. After the bell is deleted, everything remaining is rapidly deleted.
Ending[]
After the game is unable to continue, Leshy and the player shake hands, and Leshy gets deleted.
Magnificus' Section[]
After Leshy is deleted, the player is transported to the same blank white room Magnificus could be seen in during Act I.
Pre-Game[]

The player must walk along a path full of broken pillars to Magnificus. If the player convinced Goobert to show Magnificus his painting in Act III, it will be along the path but with Goobert bleached out. Once reaching Magnificus, he attempts to convince Luke to eject the floppy disk, but he says that he has foreseen that does not, and is doomed for his insistence. Remarking that they will both soon meet their makers, he initiates a dramatic final battle.
Gameplay[]
Battle[]
When starting a battle, the player draws 3 cards from their deck and a Mox card. All cards require Mox to play.
At the start of your turn, you can choose to either draw 1 card from your own deck or draw a random Mox. You must draw before playing any cards.
Instead of scales, there are health counters of 400, with whoever reaches 0 first losing.
As the battle goes on, more things begin to be deleted. Magnificus himself is almost deleted, but he resists it. Eventually, everything remaining gets deleted.
Ending[]
After the game is unable to be continued, Magnificus continues to resist deletion, attempting to crawl towards the player to shake their hand. However, he is unsuccessful, and is deleted before he can reach the player.
OLD_DATA Section[]
After Magnificus is deleted, the player ends up in an empty white area as the character they were in Act II. After travelling offscreen, the player finds the Woodcarver, who tells them there's not much left besides the OLD_DATA. She states you should not access it, pessimistically saying you will not listen to her, and then gets deleted.
After travelling offscreen two more times, the player finds the OLD_DATA. After unpacking it, numerous censored image files appear on screen while Luke Carder's heavy breathing is heard. It then cuts to Luke attempting to destroy the floppy drive with a hammer, the footage corrupting slightly every time he hits it, with the footage eventually cutting out.
The footage cuts back to Luke contacting Herman, a reporter, attempting to expose GameFuna for their malpractice. Before being able to properly provide his proof, Luke gets interrupted by a knock at the door. He angrily answers it, only for Amanda to shoot him. Amanda then proceeds to retrieve the floppy disk and leave.
The game then plays the credits.
