He cooks. I eat!
Official card flavour text
Frank & Stein is an Undead card that appears in Act II and Finale I of Inscryption.
Strategy[]
Frank & Stein is one of the more easily accessible Undead cards in Act II and Finale early on, making it useful for dealing good amounts of damage. However, its high bone cost means it its more of a mid-game or late-game card. It can be effective in bone-centric decks as a decently powerful card.
It can also be a good idea to add it to a deck that doesn't use many bones, as this can make it easier to play since the player can save up their bones. It should be noted that cheaper units such as Zombie or Revenant (or, in Magickal decks, Skelemagus) can sometimes be better for this purpose, however.
Frank & Stein is the Undead equivalent of Steambot
Trivia[]
- The design and name of Frank & Stein are a parody of Frankenstein's monster.
- The name could be inspired by the winner of Ludum Dare 34: Frank & Stein. In fact, the original Sacrifices Must Be Made was an entry for Ludum Dare 43.
- Steambot and Frank & Stein are the only two card in Act II to have flavour text on its physical card.
