The Gembound Ripper is a Technology Card that appears in Act III of Inscryption. It can be obtained in the Gaudy Gem Land, in the southwest Botopia. While the Gembound Ripper is not always a Gemmed Card when played by the opponent, most opportunities through which the player can obtain it present it as a Gemmed Card.
Strategy[]
Gembound Ripper is a powerful single damage card, with the highest base Power of any card in Act III of the game. As it can be naturally obtained with Gemification, it benefits greatly from most buffs provided to it via Gem Vessels. Its greatest downsides are its expensive cost and low Health.
Almost any available Sigil works well on the Gembound Ripper. Bifurcated Strike is a direct offensive upgrade, whereas Sniper allows it to be used more strategically. Unkillable is also an option, since by the time it is available it can be played freely and consistently, though keep in mind that this limits your ability to play other cards. Though it is tempting to add Overclocked, be wary that the card is frail.
