Inscryption Wiki

This page refers to the Vessel card from Act III. For the Mox Card from Act II, see; Goranj's Mox

Goranj's Vessel is a Technology card that appears in Act III of Inscryption. Despite sharing a naming scheme with the Empty Vessels, Goranj's Vessel does not benefit from upgrades to the Empty Vessels.

Strategy[]

As with both Bleene's and Orlu's Vessels, Goranj's Vessel is highly useful thanks to its ability to buff multiple aspects of other Gemmed Cards on the board at the same time. The Mox provided by Goranj's Vessel buffs the Power and Health of all gemified cards, including itself, thus giving itself 1 Power and 3 Health. This in turn means that it is effectively a cheaper and more powerful Automaton, so it can be considered as a viable standalone unit to your deck.

The buffs provided by Goranj's Vessel can be compared to those granted by the Fledgling Sigil in Act I. However, these changes only stay in effect as long as Goranj's Vessel is active. Consider combining these buffs with low-cost cards that benefit the most from them, such as L33pbot and Lonely Wizbot.

If using Goranj's Vessel by itself, be sure to consider which Sigils would work well and do not compromise the given buffs. Most upgrades work well, but here are some to watch out for:

Good Upgrades

  • Beast Forms are power additions that benefit from the built-in Power buff.
  • Unkillable returns the card whenever it is defeated.
  • Battery Bearer grants back an Energy spent; this is particularly effective if combined with Sapphire Vessels.

Bad Upgrades

  • Though tempting, Overclocking runs the risk of losing the card when it is defeated.

Trivia[]

  • Goranj is a portmanteau of the words Green and Orange, in reference to the types of Mox this card provides.
