Master Bleene is a Rare Magick card in Act II of Inscryption.
Strategy[]
The True Scholar sigil only needing a Blue Mox to get activated makes it possible to sacrifice Master Bleene as soon as it is played, since it already requires this mox. Because of this, Master Bleene's main purpose is to be sacrificed as soon as it gets played. However, its high Health also makes it a good tanking unit, allowing you to gain time and only sacrifice Master Bleene when his health is low.
The best way to rapidly play this expensive card is to have a Bleene's Mox on the board, since it activates both the Blue and Green Mox needed to play Master Bleene.
Trivia[]
- Bleene is a portmanteau of the words Blue and Green, in reference to the types of Mox this card requires.
- Master Bleene may be a reference to the Pot of Greed card from Yu-Gi-Oh, as both of them allow the player to draw cards.
- The fact that True Scholar allows the player to draw 3 cards instead of 2 like Pot of Greed may be a reference to cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime often possessing incorrect or altered effects; Pot of Greed sometimes allows the draw of 3, as spoofed in the video "I SUMMON POT OF GREED!".
