Mycobot is a secret technology card that appears in Act III of Inscryption.
It can be obtained by defeating The Mycologists in Act III, which requires the player to have obtained the key from them in Act II. If the card dies during the fight, the player will not receive it.
The Mycobot's Cost, Power, Health and Sigils are dependent on what cards on the player's side of the board were fused together during the second phase of the battle. The portrait, however, is always the same.
- The cost and sigils are taken from the center-most card on the player's side of the board when phase 2 begins, as other cards get fused into this one.
- The power and health are also taken from this; however, all cards that are fused into it add their stats to it, and some of their sigils.
Strategies[]
It is worth using the Nano Armor Generator item immediately prior to the second phase of the battle, as this not only means that the card awarded to you after the battle will have the Nano Armor sigil, but it will also allow the card to survive the initial attack in the second phase, allowing it to be further improved before the battle ends.
The best way to make this card would be to have a low cost card in the middle of the board, such as an Energy Bot or an Empty Vessel, and to also have Ourobot and/or other cards with high stats on the board before completing the first phase, as this results in a cheap card with good stats.
Another potential strategy would be to use Mrs. Bomb's Remote and the Nano Armor Generator after 2 or so turns to fill your side of the board with shielded Explode Bots, which can protect you for a few turns while clearing the opponent's side of the board. Typically you should end up with most of your explode bots still alive and at least the the middle one still shielded (due to the explode bots on the other side of the board killing the opponent's fused card in the middle even if it had Nano Armor), meaning that by the second phase you should get at least a 4/4 card for 2 energy, bearing the Nano Armor and Detonator sigils. Playing extra cards next to the fused card on the second phase will further increase its stats before you win the battle.
