A thorny rebuke.
Sharp Quills is a Sigil which makes the bearer deal 1 point of damage to an attacker of said card.
Strategy[]
Once a card bearing this sigil is struck, the striker is then dealt a single damage point.
In Battle[]
When facing cards with this Sigil, it should be considered to make sure that the enemy can be killed in one hit to reduce the damage required to be taken as much as possible. Likewise, cards with this Sigil are best placed opposing cards with low Power in order to take minimal damage while dealing a fair bit. This card can combat the Repulsive Sigil quite well.
When both cards facing each other have Sharp Quills, any attack between them will trigger a cascade of effects as each activation of Sharp Quills activates the opposing card's Sharp Quills, resulting in one or both cards' destruction.
When paired with Touch of Death, any card with both sigils will instantly kill whatever opponent attacks them.
Deckbuilding[]
Being mostly defensive, this Sigil should be applied to creatures with high amounts of Health (such as the River Snapper, Mole, Mole Man, etc.) to deal with weak attackers. Sigils focused on defense (like Mighty Leap and Burrower) also pair well. While Armored would seem to combine well with this Sigil, it should be noted that the destruction of armor does not activate Sharp Quills, reducing its effectiveness somewhat.
