The Skinning Knife is an item that The Trapper lets you buy for 7 teeth in Kaycee's Mod; it can also be obtained at bag nodes. It allows you to kill one of your opponent's cards, and gain a pelt for the remainder of the battle. Uncuttable cards cannot be skinned such as The Mule, The Moon or The Limoncello. The mouse icon used when you kill a creature with the Skinning Knife is the same one used when you want to sacrifice a creature.

- Most cards when killed by the Skinning Knife produce a Rabbit Pelt. However, killing a Wolf will instead produce a Wolf Pelt.
