The Smoke is a card that appears in Act I and Kaycee's Mod of Inscryption. This card is obtained upon making it to any boss while having more than one candle lit. The Mysterious Figure puts one of them out and gives you The Smoke. Alternatively, The Greater Smoke can be obtained exclusively in Act I by extinguishing each of the candles when they light next to the mysterious figure. After doing this Any candle extinguished will give you a Greater Smoke Card upon reaching a boss.
The Smoke is just a quick way to gain Bones, which can be used as a convenient sacrifice or a last minute shield due to it having no cost. An upgraded version called Greater Smoke is available through exploring the Cabin by clicking on the three candles when they light to snuff them. Greater Smoke's upgraded stats gives it more applicable use in battle.
