Were you as unfaltering as the cockroach...
Unkillable is a sigil that causes a card to return to the owner's hand after death.
Behaviour[]
When a card bearing this sigil perishes, a copy of it is created in your hand.
There are several unique properties to this sigil when combined with other sigils.
- Cards which change forms when sacrificed (such as the Cat and Child 13) return to the player's hand in their base form.
- Cards which grow due to the Fledgling sigil before they perish return in their grown form.
- If a card bears both this sigil and Corpse Eater, it is able to replace itself upon death.
- Since sigils transferred to a card also apply to any Tail cards generated by Loose Tail, this sigil allows the player to add a tail card to their hand.
- Similarly, sigils such as Rabbit Hole grant Undying to the resulting creature. Either this or the Loose Tail sigil combination can easily result in infinite sacrifice fodder and cards to block with.
- Since Dam Builder also transfers sigils to Dams it spawns, this sigil allows the player to add a dam to their hand.
- The Ouroboros has a special behaviour relating to this sigil: whenever any copy of it dies on any side of the field, all copies of the card have their Power and Health increased by one. This persists across all encounters and all three acts, but is reset between runs in Kaycee's Mod.
- In Act III, if the card has a beast alter-ego (that is, it possesses the Transformer sigil) and is killed in beast mode, it will stay in beast mode. That also works with the Overclocked sigil - the card won't perish and will return to your hand, although the card itself will still be removed from your deck after the battle.
